mountain doh

2 weekends ago some friends and I went to the George Washington National Forrest.  It was about a 3 hour drive to the base of the Mountain that we climbed.  The Trail was called Crabtree Falls and was about 1.8 mile hike up to the observatory.  As we were climbing we noticed how foggy it has become.  The dense fog cause us to have only about 25 feet of visibility.  We kept hoping and hoping it would clear up as we got closer to the observatory spot.  But of course with our luck, we couldn't see a thing.  I was so furious, but we decided to keep hiking up the mountain.  We then reached a chill resting spot where we decided to eat lunch.  After eating we hiked for about an hour more before we had to head back because it was getting dark soon.  We made it down just as it was becoming real difficult to see on the mountain.  It was still a good trip even though we couldn't see any scenery.  I had a good time.
